Each financial year, Infrastructure Australia is required under section 5DB of the Infrastructure Australia Act 2008 (Cth) to produce an Annual Budget Statement and an Annual Performance Statement.

Annual Performance Statement

The intention of the Annual Performance Statement is to report on the performance outcomes being achieved by the states, territories, and local government authorities in relation to the Infrastructure Investment Program and existing project initiatives funded by the Commonwealth. Infrastructure Australia is required to provide both statements to its responsible Minister, and table them in both Houses of the Australian Parliament.

Annual Budget Statement

The intention of the Annual Budget Statement is to inform the Australian Government’s budget process on infrastructure investment. Infrastructure Australia is required to provide both statements to its responsible Minister, and table them in both Houses of the Australian Parliament.
