Infrastructure Australia’s Board has appointed Mr Adam Copp as Acting Chief Executive Officer

Infrastructure Australia’s Board has appointed Mr Adam Copp as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective Monday 1 August 2022, following Romilly Madew leaving as CEO from the end of July.

An accomplished and transformational public sector leader, Adam has over 15 years’ experience in a range of policy, strategy and public affairs roles in Australian Government agencies across infrastructure, workplace relations and the Council of Australian Governments, and is currently Infrastructure Australia’s Chief Operating Officer.

As our Chief Operating Officer, Adam has led Infrastructure Australia’s Strategy, Finance, Risk, People & Culture and Digital Technology functions. He has also worked for more than a decade in strategic stakeholder engagement and government relations roles, including creating and leading Infrastructure Australia’s public affairs and government relations functions.

Mr Copp is an Advisory Board member to Deakin University, Chair of Infrastructure Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan and holds qualifications in policy, law and business.
