This assessment brief outlines the Queensland Government's plan to upgrade the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The upgrade will improve travel times and reliability for freight travelling on the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The Rocklea to Darra section of the Ipswich Motorway is the final stage of the six-stage upgrade of the Ipswich Motorway. This is the first time Infrastructure Australia has received a submission for the sixth stage, Rocklea to Darra. The Queensland Government is seeking $558 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Western Australian Government's proposal to upgrade sections of the Great Northern Highway between Muchea and Wubin in the Wheatbelt region. The project will involve reconstruction and realignment of selected sections of the highway, upgrading intersections, widening the seal and constructing additional passing lanes. The upgrade will mprove the efficiency, reliability and safety of the route between Perth and the north-west of Western Australia. The Western Australian Government is seeking $288.9 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the Victorian Government's proposal to upgrade the Intelligent Transport System (which manages information, communication and control systems to manage traffic flows) on the Monash Freeway (M1) between Warrigal Road and Clyde Road. The upgrade will improve the operational performance, effective capacity and safety on the Monash Freeway and provide travellers with a high-level, consistent user experience along the freeway by continuing the upgrade from Warrigal Road. The Victorian Government is seeking $137.1 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

This assessment brief outlines the New South Wales Government's proposal to upgrade a 10.5 kilometre section of the F3 freeway from Tuggerah to Doyalson, including pavement strengthening and widening the freeway from four to six lanes. The upgrade will increase the productivity of the freeway and enhance connectivity for passenger and freight vehicles between the central coast and Sydney by improving the existing road network and reducing congestion. The New South Wales Government is seeking $100 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.
