This assessment brief outlines the Queensland Government's plan to upgrade the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The upgrade will improve travel times and reliability for freight travelling on the Ipswich Motorway between Rocklea and Darra. The Rocklea to Darra section of the Ipswich Motorway is the final stage of the six-stage upgrade of the Ipswich Motorway. This is the first time Infrastructure Australia has received a submission for the sixth stage, Rocklea to Darra. The Queensland Government is seeking $558 million in Commonwealth funding for the project.

Infrastructure Australia prepared this report to provide governments and the community with a clear set of actions to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the growth of the Asian economies over the next half century.
