Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade

On 16 February 2018, Infrastructure Australia added the Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade project the Infrastructure Priority List as a Priority Project. 

The project addresses capacity constraints by nearly doubling the capacity for freight paths, and increasing the frequency and reliability of passenger services along the North Coast Line; Queensland’s major north–south rail corridor.
