Bruce Highway – Maroochydore Road Interchange Project

The Bruce Highway Maroochydore Road Interchange Project aims to address the congestion and safety issues at both interchanges by upgrading the Maroochydore Road interchange, reconfiguring entry and exit ramps at Mons Road, constructing new service roads and widening the Mons Road underpass.

A program initiative for upgrading the Bruce Highway is currently included as a Priority Initiative on the Infrastructure Priority List.

The business case was accepted for Infrastructure Australia's assessment on 7 March 2019.

On 23 August 2019, Infrastructure Australia added the Bruce Highway Maroochydore Road Interchange Project to the Infrastructure Priority List as a Priority Project.
