Lower Fitzroy River Infrastructure Project

On 21 June 2018, Infrastructure Australia assessed the Lower Fitzroy River Infrastructure Project and chose not to include it on the Infrastructure Priority List.

The project was designed to provide long-term water supply security in the Fitzroy and Gladstone regions. However, the business case shows that the costs of the project are likely to exceed its benefits.
