The aim of this review was to examine a selection of completed major infrastructure projects to assess the factors that affected individual project success and develop themes to provide guidance for future projects.

The review examined six major infrastructure projects in Sydney and Melbourne. It presents nine themes relating to success of projects as well as key lessons learned from the projects it examined and the implications of those lessons for future project success.
